If you are a student from Malaysia and you wish to study in Australia. If so, the Malaysian Australian Alumni Council (MACC) Scholarships may be able to provide financial assistance so that you can study or conduct research at Curtin University during the 2023–2024 academic year.
The program is available to gifted Malaysian students who wish to enrol in Curtin University’s undergraduate programs in the faculties of business and law, health sciences, humanities, and science & engineering. Up to 200 credit points only, successful applicants will earn 25% off their first-year tuition.
Curtin University is an Australian dual research university which found in Bentley, Perth, Western Australia. It was establish in 1966 under the names Curtin University of Technology and Western Australian Institute of Technology. It offers diploma, undergraduate, and graduate programs to students from other countries.

Eligibility:
- Malaysian students can apply.
- Undergraduate degree in Science courses, Engineering courses, and Western Australian School of Mines (WASM) in (Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery, Bachelor of Science (Nursing), Bachelor of Science (Physiotherapy) (Honours), and Bachelor of Science (Speech Pathology (Honours) excluded) subjects offered by the university.
- To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following criteria:
- Applicants must be Malaysian citizens, who are international full-fee-paying students.
- Applicants are not in receipt of another Australian or foreign sponsoring organization scholarship.
- Applicants are who have achieved 80% or equivalent in their last completed qualification, and a minimum overall IELTS band score of 6.5 with 6.0 in each sub-band or equivalent level in a recognized test.
- Applicants are commencing studies at Curtin’s Western Australia campuses for the first time in 2023.
- Applicants entering the first year of a full Curtin undergraduate program (Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery, Bachelor of Science (Nursing), Bachelor of Science (Physiotherapy) (Honours), and Bachelor of Science (Speech Pathology (Honours) excluded).
Applying Procedure:
- There is no separate scholarship application required. Students are invited to apply for the Curtin course through one of Curtin University’s registered education agents OR apply directly to Curtin online. All qualifying applications to Curtin are automatically considered for this award.
- Candidates must have submitted all previous academic transcripts, certificates, and personal documents to apply for this study fund.
- Students must have a previous degree certificate with outstanding academic achievement.
- The applicants must submit scores of the following English language proficiency tests:
- IELTS – 6.5
