The Eastman School of Music has established the Eastman Need-Informed Merit International Awards for the school year 2023–2024.
This scholarship will award in particular to undergraduate international or national students who have a maintained GPA of 3.0, are in good standing, and are making satisfactory academic progress. The Award will likely offer as credit toward the program’s tuition, according to the candidates. Up to four years of study may be covered in part.
The Eastman School of Music was founded in 1921 by businessman and philanthropist George Eastman and is a part of the University of Rochester, a private research university in Rochester, New York. It is one of the top 10 music schools in the country.
The Eastman School of Music cultivates a group of gifted and dedicated students. Eligibility:
- American and other overseas students can both apply.
- Students can undertake an undergraduate degree course of choice taught at the University of Rochester Eastman School of Music.
- To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following/given criteria:
- The applicants must be in good standing.
Applying Procedure:
- Students can apply for admission via the university portal. All eligible candidates will be consider accordingly.
- The students must submit official transcripts from all schools attended and an admission essay.
- The applicants must meet the academic requirements of the undergraduate program they wish to join and have obtained a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- The students must submit scores of the following English language proficiency tests:
- TOEFL IBT – 64 to 100
- Duolingo – 95 to 139
- IELTS – 6.0 to 7.0
- Cambridge English – 169 to 185
